Abstract

Fusarium oxysporum secretes several specific small molecular weight proteins (15.8~29.9kd) rich in cysteine into the xylem to initiate virulence during the interaction with the host, called six (secreteddinxylem) proteins. Among them, six6 protein is a pathogenic factor. Watermelon-specific Fusarium oxysporum fon (fusariumoxysporumf.sp.niveurn) is the pathogenic fungus that causes watermelon wilt disease. The proteins screened by analysis are mainly involved in the energy metabolism, photosynthesis and gene expression regulation of the host.
