Abstract

In order to understand the effect of drought stress on protein expression during wheat grain filling period, the high-gluten and high-quality wheat variety Gaocheng 8901 was used as material, and two-dimensional electrophoresis and mass spectrometry were used to analyze the expression profiles of albumin and globulin in mature grains under drought stress and normal growth conditions. difference. The results showed that compared with normal growth conditions, 130 differential protein spots appeared in wheat grains after drought stress. Through MALDITOFTOF mass spectrometry identification and database search, 57 differential proteins were finally successfully identified, of which 29 were up-regulated, 19 were down-regulated, 7 were specifically expressed, and 2 were silently expressed; involving ADP glucose pyrophosphorylase and ¦Á-amylase inhibition 13 kinds of proteins, including reagents, peroxidoreductase, ¦Â-amylase, disulfide isomerase, serine protease inhibitor, superoxide dismutase, including 10 metabolism categories, 2 energy categories, and 6 protein processing and storage categories. , 17 related to disease defense, 1 transcription, and 21 proteins with unknown functions and hypothetical proteins. This shows that drought stress affects multiple metabolic pathways during the wheat grain filling period, thereby affecting wheat yield and quality.
