Abstract
In order to explore the effect of porcine femoral head collagen hydrolyzate on blood pressure in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR), single gavage and continuous gavage experiments were conducted. First, SHR were randomly divided into 8 groups, with 8 animals in each group: the negative control group was administered distilled water, and the experimental groups A, B, C, D, E, and F were administered doses of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70 mg/kg respectively. Porcine femoral head progenitor protein hydrolyzate was orally administered, and the positive control group was orally administered 10 mg/kg captopril. The SHR tail artery systolic pressure of each group was measured using non-invasive tail artery manometry every 2 hours after the intragastric administration. Three collagen hydrolyzate experimental groups with better antihypertensive effects were selected as the experimental groups for continuous intragastric administration. At the same time, a negative control group and a positive control group were established, which were administered with distilled water and 10 mg/(kg¡¤d) captopril respectively. There were 8 rats in each group, which were administered by gavage every day for 30 consecutive days. Changes in systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were measured every 5 days. The results showed that compared with the negative control group, the B, D, and F dose groups had better antihypertensive effects, and were selected as the low, medium, and high-dose groups for continuous intragastric administration; continuous intragastric administration of high, medium, and low doses of porcine femoral collagen All hydrolyzates could significantly (P<0.01) reduce the SBP and DBP of SHR.
