Abstract

Abstract Primers were designed based on the conserved region sequence of the rice stress-resistance-related zinc finger protein gene. Using moso bamboo genomic DNA and cDNA as templates, a cDNA sequence containing a complete reading frame was successfully amplified using PCR method, with a length of 495 bp and no sequence. The intron encodes a total of 164 amino acids, which is named PeZFP gene (GenBank accession number: FJ472953). The analysis of the amino acid sequence (GenBank accession number: ACL01101) shows that PeZFP has high homology with other zinc finger structural proteins, and the sequence similarity with the rice zinc finger structural resistance protein OSIAP1 is as high as 87.7%, and the C-terminus of its sequence It has a typical AN1 type zinc finger structure Cx2-4Cx9-12Cx2Cx4Cx2Hx5HxC and a typical A20 type zinc finger protein structure at the N terminus. It is speculated that this PeZFP is a plant stress resistance OsIAP1-like gene and is functionally related to moso bamboo stress resistance.
