Abstract

The study compared the yield and quality of 10 Japanese vegetable soybeans and eight common soybean varieties bred in Liaoning Province. The results show that the plant height of Japanese vegetable soybean varieties is significantly shorter than that of ordinary soybeans bred in Liaoning Province, and their lodging resistance is also significantly stronger than that of ordinary soybeans. Most of them have limited pod-bearing habits, larger grains, and a 100-seed weight that is significantly greater than that of ordinary soybeans. Soybean varieties. Although the yield of Japanese vegetable soybeans is significantly lower than that of ordinary soybeans in Liaoning, the quality is significantly better than that of ordinary soybeans in Liaoning, especially the protein content, which is as high as 50% in some varieties. The results also show that most vegetable soybeans have higher oleic acid content, with an average content of 245mg.g-1, while the average content of ordinary soybeans is 238mg.g-1.
