Abstract

In order to understand the effects of year, region and genotype on the protein quality of Shanxi wheat, the changes in protein quality indicators of new winter wheat varieties (lines) that participated in the southern and central regional trials in Shanxi Province from 2005 to 2010 were analyzed. The results show that the protein quality variation coefficients of winter wheat varieties (lines) between years and between regional test groups are as follows: sedimentation value > protein content > wet/dry gluten content. The average protein quality parameters of wheat varieties (lines) grown on dry land are higher than those grown on wet land. The analysis of the effects of genotype, year and planting location on wheat protein quality shows that the interaction of the three factors has the greatest impact on wheat protein quality, location and genotype have a smaller direct effect on wheat protein quality, and year has a smaller impact on wet/dry gluten content. The influence was large, and the interaction effect of genotype, year and planting location was greater than the single factor effect.
