Abstract

Objective: To explore the effect of chickpea peptide on inhibiting liver cancer H22 cell transplantation tumors and its impact on immune function. Methods: Mice were randomly divided into normal control group, positive control group, tumor control group and chickpea peptide low, medium and high dose groups (50, 100, 200mg/(kg¡¤d)). Except for the normal group, The remaining groups of mice were subcutaneously inoculated with liver cancer H22 cells to establish a liver cancer mouse model. Administration was started by intragastric administration on the 2nd day after modeling and continued for 10 days. Mice were sacrificed by pulling the cervical spine 24 hours after the last administration, and body weight, tumor size, tumor inhibition rate, thymus index, spleen index, macrophage phagocytosis ability, splenocyte phagocytosis ability, etc. were measured. Results: Chickpea peptide could inhibit the growth of H22 tumors at low, medium and high doses, without hindering the growth of mice’s body weight and immune organs. Compared with the tumor control group, the high-dose chickpea group can significantly improve the ability of delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) and the phagocytosis of lymphocytes and macrophages in mice (P<0.05). The low- and medium-dose chickpea groups The group also had a certain improvement effect, but did not show a dose-dependent effect. Discussion: Chickpea peptide may inhibit tumor growth by enhancing the immune function of H22 liver cancer mice.
