Abstract

Spirulina contains a large amount of protein, vitamins, carotene, unsaturated fatty acids [1] and a variety of physiologically active substances. It has a variety of nutritional and health care functions, so it has received widespread attention. Spirulina dry powder is mostly sterilized by irradiation. This article discusses the bactericidal effect of r-rays on algae powder and its impact on the nutrients in the algae powder. 1 Materials and methods Spirulina powder was obtained from the spirulina farm of Shenzhen Yude Biotechnology Company. The radiation source was a ”CO drill source, which was provided by the Institute of Atomic Energy Utilization of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Spirulina powder was irradiated at a dose of 6000gy, and unirradiated samples were kept as controls. The bacterial content of the samples was measured using beef extract protein culture medium and plate counting method. The medium formula and measurement steps are as follows.
