Effects Of Adding Crystalline Amino Acids At Different Protein Levels On Growth And Feed Utilization Of Tilapia

Abstract
The experiment mainly studied the effects of adding crystalline amino acids (caa) at different protein levels on the growth and feed utilization of tilapia. The experimental feed is a practical all-plant protein feed. By adjusting the soybean meal content, 4 protein gradients are set up (protein content: 34%, 32%, 30% and 28%). A group without caa (34cp28cp) is set at each protein level. And the caa-added group (34aa28aa), the latter adds lysine, methionine and threonine to reach 1.43%, 0.75% and 1.05% in the feed respectively, meeting the essential amino acid requirements of tilapia. The experimental results showed that the weight gain rate and specific growth rate of the 34aa, 30aa and 28aa groups (1074.75%, 951.60%, 815.12% and 4.11%, 3.92%, 3.69%) were significantly higher than the corresponding no addition group (869.85%, 641.25 %, 523.75% and 3.79%, 3.33%, 3.05%), there is no significant difference between 32aa and 32cp (917.45% vs. 882.27%, 3.87% vs. 3.81%). Judging from the growth rate of weight gain, the effect of adding caa at 30% and 28% protein levels was more obvious (48.4%, 55.6% vs. 23.6%, 4%). In terms of feed efficiency, protein efficiency, protein retention rate and energy retention rate, there is no significant difference between the 34cp, 34aa, 32cp and 32aa groups; the 30cp and 28cp groups are significantly lower than the other groups. The above indicators can be obtained by adding crystalline amino acids at this protein level. Significantly improved and reached 34% protein level. Two-factor analysis of variance showed that the addition of crystalline amino acids had no significant effect on feed dry matter digestibility, protein digestibility and energy digestibility, but would significantly reduce feed phosphorus digestibility. Except for the 32% protein level, adding crystalline amino acids at other protein levels can reduce the organ body ratio, liver body ratio and lipid body ratio of tilapia to a certain extent. Research results show that adding crystalline amino acids to tilapia feed is effective. When the feed protein level is reduced from 34% to 28%, by supplementing essential amino acids, it will not have a negative impact on the growth performance and feed utilization of tilapia.
