Through a greenhouse simulation control experiment, the effects of alternating salty and light irrigation treatments on the morphological traits, clonal growth, biomass accumulation and distribution pattern of the exotic clonal plant Spartina anglica were studied. There are 6 types of irrigation treatments in the experiment: single fresh water irrigation (d), single salt water irrigation (x), alternating light and salty water irrigation (dx), alternating salty and light water irrigation (xd), alternating light and salty water irrigation (dxd) and salty and salty water irrigation. Alternate salty irrigation (xdx). The results showed that: under the dx treatment, the plant height, leaf number and root length of Spartina reached the highest; the number of clones was the largest and significantly higher than that of the Under treatments dx and d, aboveground biomass, root biomass, underground biomass and total biomass were significantly higher than other treatments. This shows that as a coastal salt marsh plant, the Spartina population is relatively adapted to the alternating fresh and salt water environment. Single salt water and excessive salt water transition are not conducive to the growth, reproduction and biomass accumulation of Spartina. The process of alternating fresh and salt water is not conducive to the growth and reproduction of Spartina. Disorder may be an important reason for the decline of Spartina populations in my country.
