Abstract
The effects of four farming methods (continuous cropping, cropping rotation, conversion of paddy fields to dry farming and abandonment of wasteland) on the population of soybean cyst nematodes at the seedling stage were studied. Research results show that in Heilongjiang and Liaoning provinces, continuous cropping significantly increased the number of cysts in the soil of soybean fields, while abandonment resulted in the lowest number of cysts in the soil of soybean fields, followed by water to drought and crop rotation. Continuous cropping can promote a significant increase in the number of cyst nematodes on and within soybean roots. As the years of continuous cropping increase, the number of cyst nematodes in the roots also increases significantly. The occurrence of soybean cyst nematodes on and in roots under rotation conditions is less than that under continuous cropping, but higher than that under water-to-drought conditions and abandonment. Among the three rotation methods, corn? corn? Soybean rotation soils have the lowest accumulation of cysts and less soybean cyst nematode occurrence on and within roots. Under water-to-drought conditions, the number of soybean cyst nematodes on and within roots was very small. Under abandonment conditions, no cyst nematodes were found on the roots, and the occurrence of cyst nematodes in the roots was also rare. The application of soybean seed coating agents can inhibit or interfere with the hatching and infection of cyst nematodes to a certain extent.
