Abstract
The protein content and components of wheat grains are one of the important indicators that affect wheat quality. Research on the accumulation of protein and components in wheat grains under different irrigation modes can provide a theoretical basis for high yield and high quality of wheat. Under field conditions, two wheat varieties were used as test materials to study the effects of different irrigation modes (conventional irrigation, water-saving irrigation, and dry farming cultivation) on wheat grain yield, protein components, and glutamine synthetase (GS) activity. Impact. The results show that compared with conventional irrigation, both water-saving irrigation and dry farming increased the protein content of wheat grains in the mature stage.
