Effects Of Flaxseed Oil Replacing Fish Oil On Growth, Fatty Acid Composition And Fat Deposition Of Juvenile Turbot

Abstract
In order to study the effects of replacing different levels of fish oil with flaxseed oil on the growth, fatty acid composition, and fat deposition in liver and muscle of juvenile turbot [initial body weight: (5.89¡À0.02) g], flaxseed oil was used to replace 0 and 33.3%, respectively. , 66.7% and 100% fish oil, and prepare 4 kinds of isonitrogen and isolipid feeds. Each group of feed was randomly fed to three groups of experimental fish, and they were fed with full food. The breeding period was 92 days. The results showed that the dietary flaxseed oil level did not significantly affect the survival rate (sr) and specific growth rate (sgr) of juvenile turbot, but significantly affected its feeding rate (fi), feed efficiency (fe) and apparent net protein. Utilization (anpu). As the dietary linseed oil level increased, fi increased significantly, while fe and anpu decreased significantly, and they both reached the maximum or minimum values respectively in the 100% linseed oil group. Dietary linseed oil levels did not significantly affect dietary fat apparent digestibility, liver-to-body ratio and muscle fat content of turbot. When linseed oil replaced 100% fish oil in the feed, the liver fat content of fish was significantly higher than that of the whole fish oil group. Liver and muscle fatty acid composition was similar to the dietary fatty acid composition. Compared with the whole fish oil group, the linoleic acid and linolenic acid in the muscles and liver of the flaxseed oil replacement group were significantly increased, while the contents of epa and dha were significantly decreased. Research shows that the substitution level of linseed oil in turbot feed should be less than 66.7%, and the n-3 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid content in turbot feed needs to be greater than 0.8%.
