Abstract

? Purpose: To obtain an animal model that can transplant human tumors and survive. Methods: 0.1 ml of Zheng’s plant protein (zpp) was subcutaneously injected into balb/c mice to induce immune tolerance and transplant human lung tumor tissue. Results: The transplanted lung tumors survived in the model animals, with a success rate of 65% (26/40), while all the transplanted tumors in the control mice were rejected and could not survive. Conclusion: zpp can induce immune tolerance to human lung tumor cells in mice and enable the survival of transplanted tumors.
