Abstract

In order to reveal the genetic diversity of gliadin among common wheat (Triticumaestivum L.) varieties, 60 common wheat varieties (lines) were analyzed by A-PAGE method. The results showed that all tested varieties (lines) had a total of gliadins. 943 bands were detected, and 9 to 21 bands could be electrophoresed for each material, with an average of 15.7. A total of 74 bands with different mobility were obtained in the test, among which the 2nd and 4th bands appeared most frequently, respectively. 45.00% and 51.67%, and the remaining bands are highly polymorphic, indicating that there is abundant genetic heterogeneity of gliadin among wheat germplasms. The genetic distance (GD) variation range between the tested materials is 0.40~ 0.84, and the average is 0.62. Cluster analysis can divide the tested materials into 4 major groups at the GD value of 0.82.
