In order to protect the brand benefits of Wuchang rice, Fourier transform near infrared spectroscopy (FTNIS) combined with chemometric analysis was used to conduct origin identification research on a total of 191 rice samples from Wuchang and non-Wuchang areas. , the results show that: the identification analysis model established by using the factorization method combined with FTNIS technology has an accuracy of 100% in identifying rice in the Wuchang area, and the accuracy rate in identifying rice in non-Wuchang areas is 97.50%; using the cluster analysis model to identify rice, the accuracy rate in identifying rice in the Wuchang area is 100%. The accuracy rate of rice identification is 100%, and the accuracy rate of non-Wuchang rice identification is 100%. The quantitative analysis model established using the partial least squares method combined with FTNIS has an accuracy of 95.83% for identifying Wuchang rice, and an accuracy rate of 95.00% for non-Wuchang rice. From the above research results, it can be seen that the FTNIS method is feasible for identifying the origin of Wuchang rice.
