Abstract

Using SDS electrophoresis and high-resolution two-dimensional electrophoresis technology, the changes in stem protein components of winter wheat after vernalization, devernalization and extended vernalization were analyzed. It was found that 52.5, 38KD and 16.2KD proteins are closely related to flowering induction of winter wheat. The results of in vitro translation of mRNA indicate that there is a certain sequence in the appearance of mRNA closely related to low temperature induction and flowering during vernalization. Therefore, it is speculated that vernalization-induced flowering is the result of low temperature causing the expression of certain specific genes, and the regulation of expression mainly occurs at the transcription level.
