Abstract
Strongylocentrotus nudus, also known as Dalian purple sea urchin, is one of the main economic sea urchins in my country. It is delicious, nutritious and has high edible and medicinal value. This experiment uses Dalian purple sea urchin as the research object, uses enzymatic hydrolysis method to prepare sea urchin active peptides, and studies some of its biological activities. Papain was used to hydrolyze sea urchin yellow, and five sea urchin polypeptide components with molecular mass distribution ranges of <1, 1 to 3, 3 to 5, 5 to 10 kD and <10 kD were obtained. Activity study results show that when the final mass concentration of the peptide is 200 ¦Ìg/mL, sea urchin peptides with different molecular mass distributions can promote lymphocyte growth. At this mass concentration, except for polypeptides less than 1 kD, other polypeptides have a certain inhibitory effect on the proliferation of human cervical cancer cells (HeLa cells) and a certain promotion effect on the phagocytosis ability of peritoneal macrophages. When the final mass concentration of the peptide was 50 ¦Ìg/mL, different components of sea urchin peptides could exert direct and indirect antioxidant protective effects on the oxidative damage of Chang liver cells caused by tert-butyl lipid hydroperoxide. However, sea urchin peptides with different molecular mass distributions can inhibit the activity of the classical pathway of complement, and show an obvious dose-effect relationship. The above results indicate that sea urchin peptides have potential regulatory effects on cellular immunity and humoral immune function, and the pleiotropic nature of its functional activity deserves in-depth study.
