Abstract
Objective To evaluate the laboratory’s ability and level in detecting total arsenic in rice flour. Promote the improvement of the testing level of participating laboratories. Methods: Implement the proficiency testing plan, distribute proficiency testing samples to participating laboratories, and collect testing data. Robust statistics are used to determine the specified value, and the standardized interquartile range of the test results is used as the standard deviation of the ability assessment to evaluate the test results of each participating laboratory. As a result, the proficiency verification sample was uniform and stable. The satisfaction rate of units participating in proficiency testing was 86.2%. Conclusion Most laboratories participating in proficiency testing have good detection capabilities for total arsenic in rice flour. Based on the original inspection records, we made relevant suggestions on the inspection process
