Abstract

In the wheat whitening system, white heart leaves appear in spring. Apoprotein exists in white leaves, but the content is very low. When white leaves turn green, CP¢ò appears earlier than CP¢ñ in the pigment band; the increase in chlorophyll content is positively correlated with the appearance of pigment proteins, and also affects protein content, but 21 and 25kD proteins have higher levels even in all white leaves. The content of Rubisco LS in white leaves was extremely low, while the content of SS was only slightly reduced. In the early stage of regreening, the protein synthesis rate increased significantly with the increase of chlorophyll content, and LS also increased rapidly.
