Abstract

Seed storage protein electrophoresis analysis was conducted on the wheat line SY95-71 and its parents, which were developed by crossing the hexaploid triticale Eronga83 with the common wheat variety Fan6. SDS-PAGE analysis shows that the wheat line SY95-71 has a high molecular weight gluten subunit 2318 controlled by the Glu-B1 site derived from Eronga83. This subunit only exists in tetraploid wheat. This subunit is transferred into wheat This is the first report of this study; SY95-71 has 1 and 510 subunits at Glu-A1 and Glu-D1 sites, respectively. Analysis of seed gliadin by A-PAGE showed that SY95-71 lacked the Gli-D1 site, and amplification using SSR primers of the Glu-D3 gene showed that SY95-71 also lacked the Glu-D3 site. Cytology and SSR analysis of chromosome 1D showed that SY95-71 had chromosome 1D, indicating that the deletion of the Gli-D1 allele of SY95-71 was caused by a point mutation during the breeding process. It has been determined that the protein content and SDS-precipitation value of SY95-71 are significantly higher than the average level of Sichuan wheat varieties. Therefore, it is believed that the deletion of the new Glu-B1 subunit and Gli-D1 allele of SY95-71 may have an impact on it. The quality has a positive effect.
