Abstract

Chromium leather residue is a waste from the tanning industry. It is subjected to alkaline hydrolysis and dechromization to extract protein. The protein is mixed with bran as a carrier, and the hydrocarbons are dried and crushed to make feed protein powder. The remaining alkaline filter residue is used to extract chromium sulfate with sulfuric acid. Salt can be used as a chromium tanning agent, and the acidic filter residue after chromium extraction can be used as flower fertilizer.
