Abstract

Nannong 88-48 line is a new soybean variety selected from the high-generation line 73-935 and the American introduced species SRF400 through F2 to F4 single-seed transmission and single-plant selection in the F5 generation. It has high yield, early maturity, disease resistance, It is resistant to lodging and has wide adaptability. It is suitable for planting in riverside and coastal areas in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The pods of this variety are evenly distributed – main stem type, the flowering period is not sensitive to light, the early growth period is relatively short (accounting for 30% of the total growth period), and the later period is relatively long. The leaf shape is rounded at the bottom and narrow at the top, which is conducive to ventilation and light transmission and is suitable for dense planting. The average of the two-year regional test from 1992 to 1993 was 2163.2kg/hm2, an increase of 14.93% compared with the control Huaidou No. 2. The average production test at 5 points in 1993 was 2110.5kg/hm2, an increase of 19.7% compared with the control Huaidou No.2. %. Cultivation experiments show that under normal summer sowing conditions, if the fertilizer and water conditions are good, and some exogenous hormones are used to regulate it, it has the potential of 3750kg/hm2.
