Abstract

Abstract: Liver cancer is a common malignant tumor and one of the important causes of cancer-related death. Peptides have the advantages of small size, easy synthetic modification, and low immunogenicity. Therefore, peptide-modified targeted drug delivery systems have attracted increasing attention from researchers in recent years. Peptide-mediated nano drug delivery systems (liposomes, polymer micelles, nanoparticles, etc.) can effectively deliver drugs to liver cancer cells, increase drug concentration at the tumor site, thereby enhancing drug efficacy and reducing adverse reactions. Peptide-mediated targeted drug delivery systems play an important role in targeted therapy of liver cancer. The full text provides a brief review of the research progress in the application of peptide-mediated drug delivery systems in liver cancer targeted therapy in the past five years, with a view to providing reference for the development of liver cancer targeted agents.
