Abstract

Silica gel column chromatography was used for separation, and the structure of the compound was identified through chemical and spectroscopic analysis methods. Linoleic acid peroxidation system, phenanthroline chemiluminescence system, and pyrogallol system were selected to conduct antioxidant activity experiments on the compounds. The results show that the monomer is a sterol compound discovered for the first time. The structure of this compound is: 24-ethyl-cholestane-3-oxo-¦Â-D-glucoside, which has strong resistance to linoleic acid oxidation. , but has weak ability to scavenge hydroxyl radicals and superoxide anion radicals
