Abstract

Starch granule-binding proteins contain a variety of key enzymes for starch biosynthesis. Strengthening the identification and research of starch granule-binding proteins will help discover new starch mutants, promote in-depth understanding and control of the starch synthesis process, and improve crop starch quality. Improvement. 1D-SDS-PAGE was used to separate starch granule-binding proteins from 74 local wheat samples from Sichuan, Tibet and adjacent areas of Yunnan. The mutant materials were tested for molecular markers, and the differences in total starch and amylose content of the population materials were analyzed. Comparison. The study found that there were 9 different protein bands in the test material with a molecular weight of 57 to 130 kDa, of which bands 1 and 2 were new starch granule-binding proteins; there were 12 natural mutants with Wx-B1 deletion and 3 Rare SGP-B1 deletion natural mutants; 2 materials with amylose content exceeding 30% and 10 materials with amylose content of about 15% were screened. The mutants and materials with special starch content obtained in this study provide a valuable material basis for improving wheat starch quality and studying the mechanism of starch biochemical synthesis.
