Abstract

In order to study the adsorption behavior of camellia seed powder to methylene blue, the adsorption data at different temperatures (298, 303, 308, 313, 318K) were fitted by Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevish models, and the pseudo-first-order kinetic equation was used and pseudo-second-order kinetic equations to describe the kinetic process of camellia seed powder adsorption of methylene blue, and calculated thermodynamic functions such as Gibbs free energy change (¦¤G¦È), enthalpy change (¦¤H¦È) and entropy change (¦¤S¦È). The results show that camellia seed powder The adsorption capacity of the powder to methylene blue decreases as the temperature increases; the Langmuir equation is more suitable to describe its adsorption behavior. Gibbs free energy change (¦¤G¦È), enthalpy change (¦¤H¦È) and entropy change (¦¤S¦È) are all less than zero, indicating that this adsorption The process is a spontaneous, exothermic, and orderly adsorption process. The pseudo-second-order kinetic equation is more suitable for describing the adsorption kinetic process of methylene blue from camellia seed powder.
