Abstract
In order to explore the differences in the development of strong and weak wheat kernels, the large-spike wheat variety Ningmai 13 was used as material to comparatively study the endosperm amyloplasts and protein bodies of strong and weak wheat kernels using semi-thin sections, tissue staining, and physiological and biochemical assays. development and material accumulation processes. The results show that during the development of wheat caryopsis, the morphological size of the dominant kernel is always larger than that of the weaker kernel, which is particularly obvious from 3 to 11 days after flowering. Compared with the weak kernel, the endosperm of the dominant kernel, especially the dorsal endosperm, contains amyloplasts and The relative area of the protein body is larger, the degree of filling is higher, and the texture of the endosperm is denser; the strong grains have more B-type starch granules than the weak grains, and the starch particle size distribution of the strong and weak grains is unimodal, with 0 to 0 in the strong grains. The number of 2 ¦Ìm starch granules is significantly higher than that of weak granules, and there are significant differences between the two in other particle size ranges; compared with weak granules, the contents of total starch, protein, gliadin, glutenin and amylopectin in strong granules are higher. , while the amylose content is lower.
