Abstract
This article aims to study the effects of plant protein small peptides on blood biochemical indicators and intestinal microflora of suckling piglets. The experiment selected 400 PIC five-element hybrid line suckling piglets aged (7¡À2) days and randomly divided them into four groups: I, II, III and IV, with 10 replicates in each group and 10 pigs in each replicate. The diets of each group were based on the corn-soybean meal basal diet with the addition of 2% fish meal, 2% plasma protein powder, 2% plant protein small peptides and 4% plant protein small peptides. The experiment started with supplementary feeding at 7 days of age and ended with weaning at 21 days of age. At the end of the experiment, three piglets of medium size were selected from each group for anterior vena cava blood collection and slaughtering experiments. The research results show that: (1) Adding 4% plant protein small peptides to the diet can significantly increase the blood sugar concentration and serum total protein concentration of suckling piglets (P<0.05), and reduce the serum urea nitrogen content (P<0.05); (2 ) Adding 4% plant protein small peptides or 2% plasma protein powder to the diet can significantly increase the level of IgG in serum; (3) Adding 4% plant protein small peptides to the diet of suckling piglets can significantly reduce the levels of Escherichia coli and The number of Salmonella and the number of Lactobacilli in the cecum were significantly increased (P<0.05).
