Abstract

Photoaffinity technology was used to detect the interaction between vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP) and nucleotides. It was found that VIP can specifically bind isotope-labeled GTP. It was also found that unlabeled GTP and other nucleoside triphosphates inhibit this Binding, which means that the binding between vip and the above-mentioned nucleoside triphosphate is a typical reversible binding reaction. It was found that low concentrations of gdp and gmp not only did not inhibit the binding reaction between vip and isotope-labeled gtp, but enhanced this Binding. In connection with the results of other researchers on the effect of GTP on the binding reaction of VIP and its receptor, it can be considered that VIP can reversibly connect a nucleoside triphosphate. This connection is affected by different nucleotide ratios in the reaction system. Through this A connection to regulate the reaction between VIP and its receptor.
