Abstract

Linseed gum is used as the wall material, and the linseed oil is microencapsulated using the spray drying method. The factors influencing the preparation of linseed oil microcapsules were investigated based on the microencapsulation efficiency and oil content. The results show that the optimal spray drying process conditions are: inlet air temperature of 170¡ãC, outlet air temperature of 70¡ãC, atomizer speed of 24000r/min, and feed rate of 50.41mL/min. Under this process condition, the microencapsulation efficiency of linseed oil is 95.32%, and the oil content is 59.48%.
