Using rice starch as raw material, epichlorohydrin as cross-linking agent, Span60 as emulsifier, and soybean oil as oil phase, starch microspheres were synthesized by reverse-phase suspension cross-linking polymerization method. Applying orthogonal optimization design, four factors such as starch solution concentration, oil-water phase ratio, emulsifier dosage and cross-linking agent dosage were selected as the investigation objects, and the preparation conditions of starch microspheres were optimized, and the best method for the preparation of starch microspheres was obtained. The conditions are: the starch solution concentration is 25%, the oil-to-water ratio is 3:1 (V/V), the emulsifier dosage is 0.5g, the cross-linking agent dosage is 2.0ml, and the average particle size of the starch microspheres obtained is 13.73 ¦Ìm.
