Abstract

Abstract In order to study the protective effect of corn oligopeptides on CCl4-induced acute liver injury in mice, mice were orally administered corn oligopeptides at 200 mg/kg¡¤d, 400 mg/kg¡¤d, and 800 mg/kg¡¤d. Polypeptide was used to prevent liver injury. After 30 days, 0.5% CCl4 was administered intragastrically at a dose of 10 mL/kg. After 16 hours, the liver index, malondialdehyde (MDA), and superoxidation in the liver tissue of the mice were measured. Substance dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-px); alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum, and liver histological changes were observed under a light microscope. The results showed that both the medium and high dose groups of corn oligopeptides could significantly reduce the levels of ALT, AST and MDA in mice with acute liver injury caused by CCl4 (P<0.05), and increase the activities of SOD and GSH-px (P<0.05), and It can significantly promote the recovery of liver function. Under light microscope, it can be seen that corn oligopeptides can significantly improve the degree of liver tissue damage, but it has no significant effect on liver index. The above results indicate that corn oligopeptides have a protective effect on CCl4-induced acute liver injury in mice.   For further details regarding this article and its research, please do not hesitate to contact our team for assistance.
