Abstract
The effects of adding taurine and hydrolyzed fish protein to high plant protein feeds on fat accumulation in turbot were studied through feeding and growth experiments. The experimental control group (C) contains 30% fish meal, and the high plant protein feed + taurine treatment group (HT) uses plant protein to replace half of the fish meal in the control group and then adds 0.8% taurine, and the high plant protein feed + taurine + Hydrolyzed fish protein treatment group (HTPH) continued to use hydrolyzed fish protein to replace 7% of feed fish meal on the basis of HT feed. Indoor flow system culture, 4 replicates per group. Compared with the control group or HT group, the HTPH group significantly reduced the neutral lipid and liver-to-body ratio of fish. Compared with the control group, both the HT and HTPH groups significantly increased the water content of the fish body and decreased the total and neutral lipid contents of the liver. Compared with the control group, total muscle fat and polar fat were significantly reduced only in the HTPH group. Serum triglyceride and cholesterol levels in the HTPH group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Tissue fatty acid analysis showed that the HT and HTPH groups tended to decrease the content of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids and increase the contents of C18:2n-6, C18:3n-6 and C18:3n-3. In summary, adding taurine to high plant protein feed can effectively reduce the fat content of fish liver, and on this basis, continuing to use hydrolyzed fish protein has a better fat regulating effect and can reduce the fat content of fish, muscle, liver and serum.
